The high cost of diesel fuel
the high cost of diesel fuel is the biggest joke on the face of the earth ! the only reason the oil company's overseas make the prices is so they can make an unlimited amount money and its not right ! the average price for diesel fuel is $4.084 per gallon and its a joke because diesel is a byproduct of gasoline so basically what that means is that diesel is the left overs from gasoline but yet it cost more to buy diesel fuel its not right it really screws the honest hard working man and its not right!!!!!!!!!!!

More Fuel + More Air = More power!
Installing a larger turbocharger and intercooler system is one of the best upgrades you can perform on a ’94½ to ’97 7.3L Power Stroke. And that’s the direction I would do to reach 500 rwhp. The new T4 turbo mounting system, an S300-based turbo, and a Spearco intercooler.

As a current ’96 Ford owner who would like to  install on my own. intercooler,  . With essentially everything pulled off the front of the truck (grille, bumper, stone deflector, headlights), you  located the areas of the radiator core support that had to be hacked to make everything work. He used a 5-inch hole saw blade to outline where the intercooler flanges would pass by the radiator.

Groundbreaking Turbo Mount System
Even though the early 7.3L Power Stroke used the common T4 turbine inlet flange, the factory exhaust collector and short-length up-pipes mounted the Garrett TP38 turbocharger (which came with no map width enhancement groove) virtually on top of the driver-side valve cover. This tight packaging made it virtually impossible to mount a larger turbo using the stock pedestal, up-pipes, and collector. The 7.3L guys at Irate who were already building complete T4 turbo mounting kits for ’99½ to ’03 Super Dutys, designed the breakthrough turbo mounting system we’re installing this month. Essentially, Irate’s T4 mount allows you to run any standard T4-equipped turbocharger on your ’94½ to ’03 7.3L be it a BorgWarner, Garrett, or even Holset.

Diesel Power Challenge 2012 has come to a close! In the end we had nine of the ten trucks still running thanks mostly to the hard work of the drivers and their crews.

Diesel Power magazine is on a mission to find the most powerful truck in the world. the diesel power challange finds the most modified machines to compete in a three-day diesel-powered torture test known as the Diesel Power Challenge (DPC). From the hundreds of entries received, they selected three Fords, three Dodges, and three GMs, and  travel to Denver Colorado in May for the invitational event. To keep things interesting, they also invited back the 2011 Diesel Power Challenge Champion, Rocky Horn to defend his title.
